This past month has been a little crazy, and I haven’t gotten much knitting done. On the upside, I’ve enrolled myself in a open English Writing course, from Coursera.org. I’m on week 6 of Achieving Expertise and I’ve just started Rhetorical Composing.
I had an epiphany the other day, and what I realized is that I have been shy about my writing skills for years now. I hate when my own husband looks at my computer screen when I’m writing a blog post. I feel like I should be apologizing to all the people who tried to help me with my blogging skills in the past couple of years. It’s not you, it’s me.
Now that I have this insight into myself, I can move on. Right? The course on Achieving Expertise has 4 writing projects; 1) Critical Review 2) Analyzing a Visual Image 3) Case Study 4) Opt-Ed.
I’ve done the Critical Review, and got a mark of 5 out of 6, and now I have entered my draft of Analyzing a Visual Image for peer reviews. I’ve never done the latter before, so I’m not sure what to expect from people.
Feel like a bit of reading? You can read what I’ve done so far and read the peer responses.
